Joy is a bead historian, and her work features beads from around the world and throughout history,

including antique Venetian and Bohemian beads from the North American Exploration and Fur Trade era,

a rich historical time of the Rocky Mountain West. She combines natural metals and stone with antique

beads to create one of a kind jewelry rich with history and culture, ready to be discovered and begin a new chapter of life.

An avid bead collector and historian, Joy is the founder of the Northern Utah Bead Society and a member

of the Society of Bead Researchers. A frequent traveler, Joy spent many childhood years living in Europe,

is always on her way to or from somewhere else, but Northern Utah has been her home base since 1997.
